Dusty
A poem to share
#tinysummerpoem prompted from SoulStack by Beth Kempton
DUSTY
A house full of dusty shelves.
Skimming the edge of
the neatly lined-up books,
forming perfect invisible circles beneath
brightly-coloured ceramic plant pots.
Suspended in the air
as the sunlight cuts through it.
A thousand tiny particles
hovering patiently
to settle, and wait,
and hope.
That this is a house where
too much happens
to dust!
