#tinysummerpoem prompted from SoulStack by Beth Kempton
PEELED
Turned up edge
crying out to be lifted.
Teasing apart surfaces
so tightly pressed together
not even air can fit between.
Each tiny part exposed
reveals a beauty.
Unknown, unseen, unfelt.
Flooded by light, warmth, space.
Nothing will ever hide it again.
