such a lovely wander alongside you and Grandad. I had a Grandad just like yours. And Nana's net curtains on the skinny wire cord that never drew back unless you yanked them. It really was an experience of a bygone generation. I loved reading your memories and observations of how it all was to your eight year old's view of the world. So reminiscent of my own, and others of our generation. Wonderfully expressed and shared - thank you. And, yes, I too would like answers to the questions I have today, of their lives, their struggles, their joys....
