Inner Source Community

A quieter place to find stillness and explore how we meet our precious lives.

Do you wish you could press pause on life, slow down and see more clearly but you never have the time?

Join me in Inner Source where I gently open that window to pause, breathe and be still and where I am forever inquisitive about life and how to make the very best of it.

Openness, vulnerability, insight and above all, love bring power of the very best and to this, Jacqui. And written so touchingly, poignantly too. I am left feeling some of what you felt, knowing some of what you know and with a new perspective on my own life. Doesn’t come much better than that for writing. Thank you for your bravery here.

Welcome and thank you for being here.

Life can feel a lot. Even when it comes full of the fun or exciting things we love we so often remain bombarded by challenges, life changing events or the weight of the world around us.

It’s hard to be fully present in this precise moment of life we’re living when we are forever in low grade survival mode - one eye looking over our shoulder waiting for the next storm to arrive.

We sacrifice so much by living this way.

Find your power in stillness

Gather in Inner Source with other kind and inquisitive souls to explore how we can better experience living.

We inhabit our bodies but we so often simply live in our thoughts and pay little attention to how the emotions of daily life, significant events, health issues or other concerns land in our bodies.

We uncover ways to better help ourselves in the face of a crisis. For me it was a lobular breast cancer diagnosis in the midst of the 2020 COVID pandemic which turned me towards meditation, breathwork, journalling and then later writing. I learnt how to enter a calmer, quieter place where I could recharge and react less.

We all want to keep showing up for our loved ones and the things that matter to us and I believe we can best do that by caring for ourselves. I have developed such a love for my practice and understanding of therapeutic meditation and offer it as a way to support ourselves and how we interact with those around us and the wider world. .

The lesson to keep on learning is how to live from this place without the push off the edge from a foreboding crisis. This, for me, is where the power lies.

What is here for you?

Inner Source is not about escaping the world by mediating in a glass bubble, remote and removed. Far from it. It’s absolutely about being in our lives and helping each other navigate it all.

As I emerged from my cancer experience I dreamt of creating a quiet space.

A place where those of us who think we’re too busy minded or just simply too busy to meditate might find a way in.

With deeper understanding, meditation can be a tool for living, not another thing on our to-do list.

Inner Source is that place and I would be delighted if you were part of it. Join the Inner Source community to support my work and uncover the power of stillness with me.

I really enjoyed the meditation circle. It was so healing and comforting to attend, afterwards I felt so relaxed and re-energized, I felt full of inspiration for my writing as well. I really enjoyed the way Jacqui hosted the circle and she has such a calm, loving voice during the meditation, I can’t recommend her enough.

And a little about me…..

I am a writer, meditation and yoga teacher, mentor, and (maybe weirdly) an activist but I’ve also worked in corporate sales, ran my own physiotherapy business for a decade and a half and published a memoir. I’m a wife, mother and besotted dog owner. I love to walk in the mountains, swim in the lake, weight train, read and I adore nothing more than a solo trip to the cinema in the middle of the afternoon when I have the place to myself. I love deep conversation about the things in life that make us wonder why.

I live close to the Yorkshire Dales and am currently working on my second book exploring how fear of difference hurts us all.
